This is the most important European Election for Ireland and for the European Union. The effect of Brexit will bring economic, social and political challenges – no matter what outcome is ratified. Extremist forces revel in the midst of uncertainty – therefore, it is essential that we elect MEPs who will protect Ireland’s vulnerabilities and the values of the European Union.

Dubliners want to see a world-class European city – where people can enjoy a balance of work, community and family life. I believe now more than ever that our society should be based on inclusion, respect and opportunity – underpinned by an economy that works for people.

I have a strong track record of delivering change. As Dublin’s MEP, I will use my experience, my determination and my energy to ensure that Dublin becomes the liveable city that we know it can be.
